My Inspiration

I have been inspired by many things in life, but being a mom has got to be number one, so here is how it all began…

Kyle and I met in June of 2006 through a mutual friend and our whirlwind began! Kyle was living in Charlotte, and I was in NH so we traveled back and forth for months working on a long distance relationship while I stayed in New Hampshire to care for my sick mother.

We proved a strong foundation during those tough few months and learned more about each other than I would say most couples do in years of dating. A few months after my mom passed on, Kyle bought a one way ticket to drive me down to my new home in the South! A New England boy meets a New England girl and together we began our lives in the Queen City!

Seven months after I moved, Kyle took me away for a romantic weekend in Blowing Rock, NC where the rest of our forever began. I had no idea what his intentions were on this trip (I even thought when he told me he had a “present” for me, that it was flowers!) Sure enough, the little black box in hand, Kyle asked me to marry him… I said YES and so it began!

On September 28, 2008 we were married, and it was the most beautiful day a bride could have asked for! A rainbow even appeared during the poem and mention of my mom watching over us.

Then six short months later Landyn Carter was born and an inspiration began! Landyn has inspired me in many ways to be the best mother, wife, and person I can be. My inspirations grew when we found out we were expecting our second baby in October 2010 and then came Lavery Elizabeth on July 1, 2011!

So this is it; my inspiration for the rest of my life. This is my from this day forward, happily ever after, as long as we all shall live… “Forever’s Like a Dream…”
